In this project, I analyzed Bayer 04 Leverkusen’s historic 2023/24 unbeaten Bundesliga campaign using Python and StatsBomb event data. The study dives into tactical formations, possession dominance, build-up strategies, shot creation, and their remarkable ability to score late goals. Key insights reveal how players like Xhaka, Wirtz, Frimpong, and Grimaldo powered the team’s success through formation fluidity, midfield control, and wing-based transitions.
